May-Treanor and Kerri Walsh have proved to been a powerhouse in the women’s beach volleyball.

May-Treanor has now won 100 career tournaments out of just 153 events. The pair have won 16 tournament titles now in a row and won 90 consecutive matches in a row.

“It’s a team sport so I look at more of the team record than the individual. The individual is nice, but I never would have gotten there had it not been for Holly and Kerri,” May-Treanor said.

May-Treanor said the Chinese might give them some trouble.

“Those Chinese are little buggers. They are hard working. They have the passion and the drive,” May-Treanor said.
