Son Tae-jin from South Korea beat Mark Lopez of the United States, 3-2 to win gold in the men’s 68kg division of the taekwondo.
Servet Tazegul from Turkey and Yu-Chi Sung from Chinese Taipei won bronze medals.

Guillermo Perez from Mexico has won the gold medal in the men’s 58kg men’s taekwondo.

Taiwan to host two baseball qualifying events
Taiwan will be hosting two qualifying events for the Beijing Olympics.
“We will hold the Asian Olympics Qualifiers and another qualifying game to select three more teams which will join the Beijing Olympics with wild card,” Lin Tsung-cheng, seretary-general of Taiwan’s baseball association said.
