Pak Hyon-suk from the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (North Korea) has won the country’s first gold medal in the women’s 63kg weightlifting at the Beijing Olympics.
Irina Nekrassova from Kazakhstan won the silver medal and Ying-Chi Lu from Chinese Taipei won the bronze medal.
