Virender Kumar from India lost 5-8 to Cuba’s Emilio Correa Bateaux in the semi-final of the middleweight boxing, but still wins a bronze medal as both loser of the semi-finals in boxing win bronze medals.
The other bronze medal went to Darren John Sutherland for Ireland, their first medal of the Beijing Olympics.
