Thailand’s Prapawadee Jaroenrattanatarakoon won a gold medal in the women’s 53 kg weightlifting. She lifted a total of 221kg. Her 126kg in the clean and jerk set a new Olympic record.
Jinhee Yoon from Korea won the silver medal and Nastassia Novikava of Belarus won the bronze.
