Brimin Kiprop Kipruto wins gold medal in men’s 3000 steeplechase
Brimin Kiprop Kipruto from Kenya has won the gold medal in the men’s 3000 steeple chase with a time of 8:10.34.
Mahiedine Mekhissi-B from France won the silver medal and Richard Kipkemboi Mateelong from Kenya won the bronze.
Kenenisa Bekele was named in both the 5000 and 10,000 meters at the Beijing Olympics.
Tirunesh Dibaba was also named in both events in the women’s event.
