The United States ‘redeem team’ have certainly redeemed themselves at the Beijing Olympics, not losing a single game and defeating Spain 118-107 in the final to win the gold medal.
The bronze medal was won by Argentina, who defeated Lithuania 87-75.
Hungary has defeated the United States to win the gold medal in men’s water polo.
Serbia beat Montenegro 6-4 to win the bronze medal.
United States win gold in men’s volleyball
The United States defeated Brazil 20-25, 25-22, 25-21, 25-23 to win the gold medal in the men’s volleyball competition.
Russia defeated Italy to win the bronze medal.
Brazil have won its first gold medal in women’s volleyball, defeating the United States 25-15, 18-25, 25-13, 25-21.
China won the bronze medal.

The United States has won the gold medal in the men’s 4×400 meter relay setting a new Olympic record with a a time of - 2:55.39.
The Bahamas won the silver medal and Russia won the bronze.
