China wins gold in the women’s table tennis team event
The first gold medal ever for the table tennis team event was won by China.
Sinapore won the silver medal and South Korea won the bronze.

Table tennis or ping-pong as it is sometimes called is China’s National Sport and not surprisingly they are planning to win all four of the gold medals up for grabs.
