Song - music bar

Looking for a change in scenery I am blogging from the Song in the Place shopping center in Beijing this afternoon. I read in a magazine that it was like something taken out of a Haruki Murakami novel, so I had to check it out.

From their website:

Sòng has been designed by Zhong Song, one of China’s foremost contemporary designers whose work includes the “Sundial” in Pudong, a collaborative work with Chen Yi Fei.

The design draws influence from the steps of paddy fields and soft contours of China’s South, influencing the colour and flair of modern China.

It is a bar/restaurant/cafe with free wifi. It is hard to imagine you are even in China here.
