Less than 50 days to go - how is the air?
It is less than 50 days to go now until the Beijing Olympics and you would expect that the air should be starting to clear with all of the work that has been put into making it better.
Unfortunately, the air seems more hazy and dusty than it was a few months ago. Riding around the city, people are working around the clock to get construction projects finished for the Olympics. What seems strange to me, work continues on construction sites that have no hope of getting completed in time for the games in August. Construction sites only fill the air with dust and that awful taste of concrete dust.
Together with the increase in temperature and humidity, Beijing is not such a pleasant place to be right now.

The sky is clear and blue in Beijing. All you need is to define a national standard for the color blue. Clear is, of course, subjected to different perception.
