Toureano of the Bahamas qualified for the next round of the Men’s Welterweight division in the boxing and Colin of Mauritius qualifed for the next round of the Men’s Light Welterweight division. In the Women’s basketball after the first round of matches Latvia are in 4th place having lost 57 - 62 to Russia.
