Serious color clash in the Chinese Olympic team uniforms

When I first saw the uniforms for the Chinese Olympic team, my immediate reaction was, “…ough!” Not being up on the latest fashions myself, I kept my thoughts to myself and refrained from blogging about it.

It seems like a few others aren’t too keen on the new uniforms either, with another blogger likening them to the Chinese dish - scrambled eggs and tomato.

The red looks a little too light to me, more like a pinky-red that doesn’t go well with the bright yellow. What do you think of the uniform?

I wonder where they designers got there inspiration from?

It’s kind of mean to compare it to The Mask, but it’s funny nonetheless! I thought you were talking about the jackets that the athletes were wearing. Did anybody see the gymnastics competition? Those jackets, with the red, yellow, and white fading upwards were awesome. The ones you were talking about… Well, I can’t say I like them, but in truth, they are the last thing I look at during the Olympic Games.
