I hope people going to the Olympics like Coca Cola, because that is the only drink they will be able to buy. It is going to be hot and humid so one can expect drink sales to be brisk.

Coke are an Olympic sponsor to the Beijing Olympics so organizers have banned all other beverages from being sold at venues. You can also forget about taking any of your own favorite drinks or food into the venues. Fortunately Coke also sell bottled water, so there is at least one alternative for people who don’t like fizzy drinks.

The beer company Tsingtao are a domestic sponsor of the Olympics, but I am pretty sure that no alcohol will be sold at Olympic stadiums.
