NBC’s Olympic streaming for Vista users only

NBC is offering complete streaming of the Olympics over the internet for the first time ever. It is great news for people working office jobs to be able to watch it from their desks :). Unfortunately, it will only be available to Microsoft Vista users.
In an age where even the most basic computer can watch YouTube videos, the decision to only work with the Vista operating systems seems quite ludicrous.
To make it even worse it will only be available to the Home Premium and Ultimate editions of Vista, which is generally not installed on business laptops.
NBC will be selling targeted advertising in the video feeds which will become available after the event has been shown live.
Wow that seems a bit extreme.
Here is one office that won’t be watching it from their desks because we have not moved to Vista and don’t plan to in the near future. Nor will I be watching this at home on my (stable) XP PCs. And my next purchase is going to be an Apple notebook, so I guess I won’t be watching any at all online. Shame on you, NBC!

Our offices will not be able to stream either, since we do almost all our production on Mac OSX tiger machines.
