Forbidden City
The Forbidden City is one of Beijing’s grandest tourist destinations. It is a massive 900 meters long by 750 meters wide and contains more than 8700 rooms. It took 12 years to complete. Many of the rooms house Chinese paintings and other historical artifacts.
