Britain hoping for fourth place in Beijing

Britain is hoping to finish in fourth place in the medal table at the Beijing Olympics after having a successful year in 2007.
The British Olympic Association chief executive Simon Clegg said: “2007 has been an encouraging year. The journey to 2012 is moving in the right direction. Although Beijing stands alone, it is also a stepping stone to 2012.”
