Australian and Japan football teams are one step closer to playing in the Olympics next year in Beijing. Australia beat Iraq 2-0 in Gosford, Australia and Japan beat Vietnam 4-0 in Hanoi.

Adrian Leijer and Mark Milligan scored goals for Australia. They will then play North Korea in Pyongyang on Wednesday to confirm their berth in the Olympics.
