Australia wins gold medal in men’s double scull
Australia’s David Crawshay and Scott Brennan won gold in the men’s double sculls, finishing in a time of 6:27.77 and giving Australia its second rowing gold medal at the Beijing Olympics.
Estonia’s Tonu Endrekson and Juri Jaanson won silver by finishing in 6:29.05, while Matthew Wells and Stephen Rowbotham from Great Britain finished just 0.05 seconds back in third place.
