Year looking good for Sohu.com

Chinese internet company Sohu.com is in for a big year as advertising and online gaming experience record growth in China.
Advertising spending is on the increase in China as the Beijing Olympics approaches.
“For fiscal 2007, Olympic partners, sponsors and suppliers increased advertising spending with Sohu by 74 percent year on year,” Sohu Co-President Belinda Wang told a conference call.
“Looking ahead, we believe the growth of our brand advertising business will continue to be robust.”
China is now only second to the United States in internet usage, and is expected to overtake the US early this year.
