Sweden beat Norway 2-0 in a match to help prepare for the Beijing Olympics.
Lotta Schelin and Jessica Landstrom were the only goal scorers for Sweden.
The United States are defending champions and both teams suffered defeats to them in the recent friendlies.
Sweden is ranked number 3 in the world behind United States and Germany.
