Olympics theme at the Beijing Botanical Gardens

With the Olympics fast approaching it seems like there are few places in Beijing untouched by Olympic fever. The Beijing Botanical Gardens has even created the Olympic rings, logo and sport pictographs in plants.

Entrance cost to the gardens is just 5RMB but the conservatory is an additional 50RMB. The Reclining Buddha Temple is also worth checking out. It weighs 54 tons and took 7,000 slaves to build it.

The Botanical Gardens are not too far from the Summer Palace. From Bagou station on subway line 10 it was a 30RMB taxi ride for me.
