Germany defeated Spain 1-0 to win the gold medal in men’s hockey at the Beijing Olympics.
Christopher Zeller was the only goal scorer for the game.
Earlier in the day, Australia crushed the Netherlands 6-2 to win bronze.
China wins gold in men’s C2 500m canoe
China’s Meng Guanliang and Yang Wenjun have won the gold medal in the men’s C2 (canoe).
Russia’s Sergey Ulegin and Alexander Kostoglod won the silver medal and Germany’s Christian Gille and Thomasz Wylenzek won the bronze medal.
