Artur Taymazov wins gold medal in 120kg men’s wrestling

Artur Taymazov from Uzbekistan has won the gold medal in the men’s 120kg freestyle wrestling at the Beijing Olympics.

Bakhriyar Akhmedov from Russia won the silver medal. Marid Mutalimov from Kazakhstan and David Musulbes from Slovakia won bronze medals.

Mavlet Batirov from Russia has won the gold medal in the men’s 60kg freestyle wrestling.
Vasyl Fedoryshyn from Ukraine won the silver medal. Kenichi Yumoto from Japan and Seyedmorad Mohammadi from Iran won bronze medals in the event.

Henry Cejudo of the United States has won the gold medal in the men’s freestyle wrestling 55kg class at the Beijing Olympic Games.
Cejudo defeated Japanese Matsunaga Tomohiro on points.
Besik Kudukhov of Russia and Radoslav Velikov of Bulgaria shared the bronze medals.

China’s Wang Jiao beat Bulgaria’s Stanka Zlateva to win the women’s 72kg freestyle wrestling gold medal at the Beijing Olympic Games.
Zlateva won the silver while Japan’s Hamaguchi Kyoko and Agnieszka Wieszczek of Poland both took a bronze medal.
