Maria del Rosario Espinoza wins gold in women’s 67kg plus taekwondo

Maria del Rosario Espinoza from Mexico has won the gold medal in the women’s 67kg plus division of taekwondo.
Nina Solheim from Norway won the silver medal. Sarah Stevenson from Great Britain and Natalia Falavigna from Brazil won bronze medals.

Guillermo Perez from Mexico has won the gold medal in the men’s 58kg men’s taekwondo.
Yulis Gabriel Mercedes from the Dominican Republic won the silver medal. Mu-Yen Chu of Chinese Taipei and Rohullah Nikpai of Afghanistan won bronze medals.

World champions and favorites for the event, Xin Wang and Ruolin Chen have won the gold medal in another spectacular diving performance by the Chinese.
Australia’s Briony Cole and Melissa Wu won the silver medal and Mexico’s Paola Espinosa and Tatiana Oritz the bronze medal.
