Mongolia wins gold in bantam-weight boxing

Mongolian Badar-Uugan Enkhbat beat Cuban Yankiel Leon Alarcon 16-5 to win the gold medal at the Beijing Olympics in the bantam-weight division.
Bruno Julie from Mauritius and Veaceslav Gojan from Moldova won bronze medals.

The fight ended early as Purevdorj withdrew with a should injury.

The Good Luck Beijing marathon was held on Sunday. Rather than pollution runners complained about the cold. It started to rain about 20 minutes into the race slowing the runners down.
