Mongolia wins gold in bantam-weight boxing
Mongolian Badar-Uugan Enkhbat beat Cuban Yankiel Leon Alarcon 16-5 to win the gold medal at the Beijing Olympics in the bantam-weight division.
Bruno Julie from Mauritius and Veaceslav Gojan from Moldova won bronze medals.
This bronze medal is the first olympic medal that Mauritius brings back home. This is a tremendous win for Mr Julie, his supporters and his coach. The whole country was right to believe Bruno when he promised to bring a medal back. Mauritius is a place where dreams do come true. Welldone Bruno and keep up with the good work!
