Yi Ting looking to qualify for the Beijing Games
Yi Ting is looking to become the first female Malaysian swimmer to qualify for the Olympic Games in Beijing next year.
She is competing in the 50th Malaysian Open championships, which begin today at the Paroi Aquatic Centre in Seremban.
“I have been training here for the last week since I came back and just trying to get back into form again. I am also looking forward to competing in my hometown after a long time,” said Yi Ting.
Her best hopes are in the 200m breaststroke and 200m individual medley.
