The third round of Olympic tickets to be sold to the domestic market will be sold online. The ticket website experienced a meltdown on a previous attempt to sell tickets online. Sales were then done through a lottery system.

“Well, we have only 100 days to go before the opening ceremony. We don’t have enough time for a lottery draw,” said Zhu Yan, director of the ticketing center for the Beijing organizing committee. “We don’t have time for that to be done.”

1.38 million tickets will be sold in the final round.
