The Hellenic Olympic Committee (HOC) has announced the schedule for the lighting of the Olympic torch ceremony.

There ceremony will start at noon on March 24th. They will play the Olympic Anthem, the National Anthem of China and the National Anthem of Greece.

Speeches will be made by the Mayor of Ancient Olympia Mr. Georgios Aidonis, President of the International Olympic Committee Dr. Jacques Rogge, President of the Hellenic Olympic Committee Mr.Minos Kyriakou and the President of the Organizing Committee for Beijing 2008 Mr. Liu Qi.

It is time to try and forget the troubles going on and to officially get excited about the Beijing Olympics.
