Greece is tightening secuity as the Olympic torch heads to Athens for the handover to China which is sheduled to take place this weekend.

“Police will be deployed, including among the crowd, to prevent any violent acts against torch relay runners or officials,” police spokesman Panagiotis Stathis said ahead of Monday’s ceremony.
