Great Barrier Reef Buffet - Guangzhuo 2 replies
Looking around for a place to eat tonight I came across the “Great Barrier Reef Buffet Restaurant”. I wasn’t really in the mood for a buffet but I was intrigued by the name of the restaurant, coming from Australia.
The deal was 75 yuan for the buffet, around US$10, which seemed like a pretty good “fair dinkum” deal.
The waitress told me the owner was currently in Australia, probably buying more boomerangs for his restaurant.

I think I’d pay thr 75RMB to see what “fair dinkum” means and to see what’s on Aussie pizza. Knowing Chinese pizza, I’d guess corn.

Fair dinkum means true or genuine. I didn’t try the pizza but they looked more like the Chinese variety. I forget exactly what an Aussie Pizza is like, but I think it has eggs on it.
