Wanfujing food market - would you eat a scorpion?

Probably the next most photographed place in Beijing after the Great Wall and the Forbidden City is the Wanfujing night food market.

Every night you see foreigners taking pictures of the delicacies on display, daring each other to try the silk worms and scorpions. I can imagine that a scorpion might just be like eating a crunchy piece of bone, but a silk worm? Just the thought of biting into it makes me sick in the stomach. And what’s the deal with starfish?

For the less adventurous they also have beef and lamb meat sticks, fried bananas and a few different dishes from around China.
