It’s been a five year break from the national team but veteran guard Rowan Barrett is back playing in the 12-country last-chance competition in Athens in the hopes that he can lift the team to a top 3 finish and book a place in the pools for the Beijing Olympics.

The six foot five native of Mississauga, Ont has played 115 games for Canada over the last 17 years and was the captain of the team which finished seventh at the Sydney Olympics in 2000.
