Great Britain pair win gold in the star - sailing event
Iain Percy and Andrew Simpson have won the gold medal in the star, men’s kneel boat (sailing) event at the Beijing Olympics.
Brazil’s Robert Scheidt and Bruno Prada took the silver and the bronze went to Sweden’s team of Fredrik Loof and Anders Ekstrom.
Spain wins gold medal in Tornado (Multihull)
Spanish sailor’s Fernando Echavarri and Anton Paz have won the gold medal in the tornado (Multihull) sailing event at the Beijing Olympics.
Darren Bundock and Glenn Ashby of Australia won the silver medal and Santiago Lange and Carlos Espinola of Argentina won the bronze medal.
Anna Tunnicliffe from the United States has won the gold medal in women’s laser, one person dinghy at the Beijing Olympics.

Australia has won the gold medal in men’s 470 two person dingy sailing. Great Britain won the silver and France won the bronze medal.

Defending Olympic champion Ben Ainslie of Great Britain won gold in the Finn (Heavyweight Dinghy), sailing evnet. He is the third sailor to win gold in three consecutive Olympic games.
The silver went to Zach Railey of the United States and Guillaume Florent of France won the bronze medal.
