Rashid Ramzi wins gold in men’s 1500 meters
Rashid Ramzi from Bahrain has won the gold medal in the 1500 meters.
Asbel Kipruto Kiprop from Kenya won the silver medal and New Zealand’s Nicholas Willis won the bronze.
Oussama Mellouli from Tunisia has won the gold medal in the men’s 1500m freestyle, a race which Grant Hackett from Australia was favorite to win and had won at the previous two Olympics. Mellouli won the race in 14:40.84.
Hackett still managed to win the silver medal and Ryan Cochrane from Canada won the bronze.
