Roger Federer and Stanislas Wawrinka of Switzerland have won the gold medal in men’s doubles tennis. An Olympic gold is one prize that has elluded Federer in his brilliant tennis career. They beat Simon Aspelin and Thomas Johansson of Sweden 6-3, 6-4, 6-7 (4), 6-3.

Mike and Bob Bryan of the United States won the bronze medal. The brothers defeated Michael Llodra and Arnaud Clement of France 3-6, 6-3, 6-4.
