Radcliffe attempts her fourth London Marathon win
Paula Radcliffe is going for her fourth London Marathon win. She set the current world record in the London Marathon in 2003.
She is using the event as a warm-up for the Beijing Olympics. Radcliffe is an asthmatic and may have trouble competing in Beijing if the pollution doesn’t improve.
It’s great to be running the London Marathon again,” said Radcliffe.
“I love running in front of my home crowd and I know that winning a fourth time will give me just the boost I need before the Olympic Games in August.
“The London field is always competitive, but that’s what I need to be at my best in Beijing.”
