Queen hosts Olympics birthday
The Queen has hosted a black tie reception at Windsor castle to commemorate the centenary of the 1908 Olympics which were held in London.
Guests included Dame Kelly Holmes, Sir Matthew Pinsent and Prime Minister Gordon Brown attended the reception in the castle’s historic Waterloo Chamber.
Great Britain won 56 medals at the 1908 games.
