Olympics related malware and virus attacks
Computer spammers and hackers are using the Beijing Olympics to launch internet attacks on people’s computers.
One example is a video file that appears to be a protest cartoon packaged as an executable file. The video is titled ‘Race for Tibet’. The movie contains a piece of key-logging software that gets installed and the data is then sent to a server located in China.
