While Beijing’s summer temperatures aren’t the hottest in the world, the humidity can be a real killer. Fortunately for athletes Nike have released a PreCool vest which athletes can wear before and after their event to lower their body temperature.

The triangular cavities in the vest hold frozen water. The vest also acts like a thermos so the cold air can’t escape.

I am sure if Nike or another company makes a similar vest for spectators they would be a hit at the Beijing Olympics.
