The death toll continues to rise after the deadly 7.8 magnitude earthquake which hit China yesterday. The earthquake hit in the afternoon while children attended school. Several school buildings have collapsed.

The earthquake is said to be the worst in China in 30 years. The earthquake comes with China hosting the 2008 Olympic games in just 87 days time.
