Concerts, theme songs and music competitions are shaping up to be popular elements of the Beijing Olympics. By holding various competitions organizers are successfully attracting a younger audience to the Beijing Olympics. Celine Dion and Korean pop band Rain are rumored to sing at the 2008 Beijing Olympics.

Last Monday a concert was held at the new Olympic Basketball Gymnasium. Artists from the mainland, Hong Kong, and Taiwan sang a variety of Olympic themed songs including “Our Dream”, “Light the Passion, Pass the Dream”, “On the Same Blue Planet” and “I am a Star”.
