Liu Xiang wins gold in 110 hurdles
Liu Xiang won China’s first gold medal in world athletics beating America’s Terrence Trammell in the 11th IAAF World Athletics Championships, in Osaka. Trammell’s teammate, David Payne finished third.

“I could have run better, but I ran well enough. Winning the championship is what matters the most. I wanted to let people know the speed that Asia has.”
