Vijender and Dinesh Kumar earned places in India’s Olympic team by reaching the finals in the Asian Boxing Qualifiers held in Astana, Kazakhstan. I saw Kumar fight in Beijing last year and he was one fighter which stood out from the field.

India now have four boxers competing in the Beijing Olympics. A L Lakra (57kg) and Akhil Kumar (54kg) are the other two fighters.
