How many people have died during the construction of the Olympic Stadium?

You’d think it would be a reasonable question to ask, right? The British Sunday Times have done some investigating and believe that the number of deaths during the construction of the centre piece of the Olympics - the birds nest - is at at least 10 but apparently this has been denied by Olympic Spokesman Sun Weide.

According to the article, at least 10 people have been killed during the construction by either falling off the massive structure or in one case, an alleged migrant worker who slept on the ground in the middle of the stadium was accidently run over by a bulldozer who didn’t realise he was there - twice.
