England’s women’s hockey team qualifies
England’s women’s hockey team has qualified for the 2008 Beijing Games. They defeated Spain 3-2.
The team’s coach Danny Kerry, said: “The girls are just brilliant and in the first half I couldn’t have asked for any more, but life certainly became nervous in the second period with Spain having more of a go at us.”
