Cycling in Beijing
While it might seem like a nightmare trying to cycle around Beijing, if you take care, especially at intersections it can be a pleasant way to get around the city.
Beijing has bicycle lanes reserved for cyclists (most of the time) along most of the main roads. Don’t ride too fast and be careful when crossing intersections, even when going through green lights. Make sure you lock your bike when you leave it on the street.

Located alongside the Yashow clothes market near Sanlitun Road. Bikes can be rented for 30 RMB per day and you will need to leave of a deposit of around 300 RMB. The cheapest bikes sell for around 280 RMB.
