China to be a force in rowing at Olympics
China is not a country usually associated with rowing, but Chinese teams won five of the 14 finals at the World Cup regatta at Lake Rotsee.
Canada and the United States also did well each winning two gold medals.
You Wu and Yulan Gao beat U.S. crews to win gold. Qin Li and Liang Tian won the women’s double sculls. China’s women’s quadruple sculls also took out gold.
