The English Beijing magazine ‘Time Out’ has been banned by Chinese censors for not have the right publishing license. Time Out is one of several English magazines that have restaurant, event and bar listings.

The magazine had already been published for four years and was initially distributed as an insert in the Chinese language edition which has the proper license.
