Boost in plasma sales from Beijing Olympics
Sharp is expecting a boost in flat screen sales leading up to the Beijing Olympics in August. China has now overtaken Europe as the third largest market, behind its domestic market and the US.
“The Beijing Olympics this year will be a tailwind for us and we would like to fully expand in China from now on,” said group president Mikio Kitayama.
